Electra Paz designed and installed the fire extinguishing systems for this desalination plant in the north of the Ashdod Industrial Area, which is intended to supply 100 million cubic meters of desalinated water per year. The company’s on-site operations included the supply and installation of fire suppression pumps, water-based fire suppression systems such as sprinklers, indoor fire protection cabinets and fire extinguishing hydrants that include shut-off valves. A 10km underground pipeline was also laid as part of this installation process, requiring welding work, pressure testing, and the preparation of outlets to the various fire suppression systems.
