Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is one of the three largest defense companies in Israel, engaged in the development of pioneering new defense, cyber and security solutions. Its requirements span 10 separate locations covering a total of 410,000 sqm and 6,500 customers, and Electra FM was asked to devise a suitable solution for what was to become the largest IFM project in Israel.
The Service Solution
The Rafael project was especially challenging for several reasons, such as the number of sites, the use of cutting-edge technology, and the need to work with complete discretion and care, in line with the highest classification requirements for the defense industry. The required services included:
Electra FM utilized the services of 335 IFM professionals, all of whom possessed the necessary specialist skills and expertise, as well as the required security clearance. This enabled all support activities to be performed on and around delicate electromechanical and manufacturing systems, with all due consideration for optimal performance and safety. The needs of each site, as well as all 10 locations together, were monitored and coordinated in real-time by the Electra FM control center.
