Electra FM Restores Stability to the Operations of the Courthouses in Haifa and Tel Aviv
12 November 2025
During the ongoing war, the State of Israel and Electra FM in particular have faced extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure systems across the country.
As a company providing comprehensive electromechanical maintenance services to a wide and nationally dispersed client base, the client called upon Electra FM’s Maintenance Division, the Administration of the Courts, to lead the restoration of two major judicial complexes, the Haifa and Tel Aviv Courthouses.
In June, following shockwave damage sustained at both sites, Electra FM’s field teams were immediately dispatched to the scene and acted without delay to restore functionality. Upon arrival, they encountered a complex situation: shattered curtain walls and glass fragments scattered throughout, dislodged aluminum structures and interior walls, cracks in the building covering, and construction materials displaced by the blast impact. Beyond the visible damage, there was an urgent need to neutralize safety hazards and ensure that site operations could continue safely and uninterrupted.
In the first stage, Electra FM’s field teams, in collaboration with a reinforced task force from Tavas, carried out a swift and professional removal of debris and glass fragments, followed by thorough cleaning and the creation of safe access routes. Temporary closures of all affected openings were performed using specialized sealing panels across extensive areas of both courthouses.
The client required that full operational continuity be restored within one week, an exceptionally challenging and nearly impossible mission. Yet, thanks to the leadership and expertise of Project Managers Avi Bouzaglo and Alon Ashraf from the Maintenance Division, who were appointed to oversee the effort, the mission was completed successfully and to the client’s astonishment. The primary goal was clear: to immediately restore a safe working environment, protect the buildings from further damage, and maintain continuous functionality and operations.
The second phase, which is expected to continue for several months, will involve full restoration works, including the replacement of screen walls and glazing, as well as reinforcement of the damaged stone façade, in accordance with the engineering assessment provided.
It is noteworthy that the courthouses resumed full and safe operations just a few days after the incidents, including the return of staff and public visits under normal conditions.
This success was made possible thanks to the productive, professional, and focused collaboration of all subcontractors involved, and, of course, the strong leadership and support of Avi Matsliach, CEO of the Maintenance Division.
Additional recognition is extended to Avi Bouzaglo, who led the Haifa restoration; Alon Ashraf, who managed the Tel Aviv recovery; and Dudi Mizrahi, VP of Tavas, for his crucial assistance during the incident in Haifa, along with sincere appreciation to all who took part in this important mission.
