Professional Seminar on Generators and Synchronization Systems
19 May 2026
As part of the activities of Electra FM’s Electrical Community, and as part of the company’s ongoing investment in strengthening professional knowledge, sharing experience, and deepening familiarity with critical field systems, a professional seminar focusing on generators and synchronization systems was recently held at the National Blood Services Center in Ramla.
The seminar was designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and professional tools related to the maintenance, operation, and management of electrical backup systems, with a focus on sites where operational continuity, system availability, and rapid response capabilities are an integral part of daily professional responsibility.
The event combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning and included professional lectures delivered by Yitzhak Maksomov, a synchronization systems expert engineer and Head of Professional Training at P.K. Electra, and by Zohar Meri, Supervisor and Diesel Systems Expert at P.K. Electra.

The lectures covered key operational principles, best practices for proper maintenance, practical field tips, and real-world challenges involved in operating generator and synchronization systems at complex sites.
Throughout the day, a variety of professional topics were discussed, including generator structures, fuel systems, transfer and synchronization systems, and controller operation. These are essential subjects for engineers, practical engineers, senior electricians, and professional team leaders, who are required on a daily basis to maintain high performance standards, develop a deep understanding of the systems under their responsibility, and operate professionally even under pressure or during malfunctions.
The seminar was attended by 38 employees from various Electra companies, including engineers, practical engineers, senior electricians, and professional leaders from different sites. Beyond expanding professional knowledge, the event created a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections between participants, share experience across teams, and encourage open professional discussions around field challenges.
The atmosphere throughout the day was professional, collaborative, and engaging. Participants raised questions, shared field experience, and held open discussions regarding challenges, malfunctions, and recommended methods of operation. The connection between content experts and field professionals enabled relevant and practical learning with direct value to day-to-day operations.
The seminar was led by Oron Antebi, Chief Electrical and Quality Engineer, in full collaboration with Shalom Bitton, Maintenance Manager at the National Blood Services Center, who hosted the participants, managed the event, and contributed significantly to its success.
This activity joins a series of professional initiatives promoted by Electra FM with the goal of strengthening knowledge, professional standards, and collaboration between the company’s teams and sites. In the world of facility management, where critical systems are required to operate continuously and reliably, practical field-based learning is a key component in maintaining operational excellence.

At Electra FM, we are proud to take part in professional initiatives of this kind, connecting knowledge, experience, and people, while strengthening our ability to lead a high professional standard in the facility management industry. We will continue investing in learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development as part of our commitment to operational excellence and industry leadership.
