Electra FM Launches a Unique Program to Strengthen Its Safety Culture

Safety is more than an organizational value. It is a way of working that guides every decision, every process, and every activity in the field. Guided by this approach, Electra FM has launched a unique program to strengthen its safety culture across the organization. The initiative is designed to deepen the organization’s safety mindset, reinforce both personal and managerial accountability, and establish a high professional standard at every site and in every task.

The program was developed in collaboration with Tzomet Safety, a company specializing in the development and implementation of safety culture programs for organizations. It was specifically designed for FM Managers and Security Managers at Electra FM. The initiative is based on the understanding that a strong safety culture is built not only on procedures and guidelines, but also on everyday leadership, personal example, sound decision-making, and active engagement in the field.

In the FM and security sectors, where employees and managers operate in complex and dynamic work environments, the ability to identify risks, manage effective work routines, and foster an organizational culture that views safety as an integral part of professionalism is essential. With this approach in mind, a comprehensive program was developed, combining professional knowledge, practical tools, and hands-on exercises tailored to the challenges encountered in the field.

As part of the “Stars Program,” participants complete a structured development journey that includes workshops, mentoring, practical exercises, and certification through a five-level star rating system. The program focuses on five core areas: safety leadership in the field, effective management routines and safety briefings, building a positive safety culture and employee engagement, continuous learning through investigations and lessons learned, and shifting from a reactive approach to a proactive, preventive mindset.

Over time, the program is expected to increase proactive safety activities, strengthen both personal and managerial responsibility, and reduce the number and severity of workplace incidents. Rather than serving solely as a training program, it is designed to create a lasting impact in the field and make safety a natural part of everyday operations and management.

The initiative is already underway, with the Security Division selected to lead the first cohort and complete the full certification process. In the next phase, representatives from all Electra FM business units will join the program to learn the new methodology, establish a unified safety language, and serve as safety culture ambassadors within their respective teams.
