Maintenance management in complex buildings and facilities requires far more than routine system servicing. It relies on a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, proactive preparation, professional oversight, and the ability to identify in advance the key factors that influence building safety, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

As part of its ongoing investment in human capital development and the professional growth of its site managers, Electra FM held a professional training session on preparing for Fire and Rescue Authority inspections. Approximately 80 site managers from the Maintenance Division, Ariel Properties, and Michlol, all directly involved in the field, participated in the training.

The session was led by Oron Antebi, Chief Electrical Engineer and Quality Manager, Electra FM, together with Meir Ezra, Maintenance Manager at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs site, who served as the subject matter expert. Meir’s previous experience as a Fire and Rescue Authority inspector provided participants with a unique perspective, based on an in-depth understanding of how inspections are conducted and the key aspects evaluated in the field.

The training covered a range of core topics, including the purpose and significance of Fire and Rescue Authority inspections, the use of standardized documentation for business and property licensing, the required frequency of periodic inspections, preparation of inspection files, and site readiness ahead of inspections. Particular emphasis was also placed on the professional responsibilities of site managers, maintaining complete and accurate documentation, identifying common deficiencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The session was characterized by high engagement, dynamic professional discussions, and numerous questions from participants, who shared their own experiences and addressed practical challenges encountered in the field. The combination of engineering expertise, hands-on experience, and comprehensive knowledge of inspection requirements provided site managers with practical tools that can be directly applied in their day-to-day responsibilities.

This training is part of Electra FM’s ongoing professional development and learning initiatives throughout the year, reflecting the company’s belief that professional excellence is built on continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and investment in human capital. By continuously developing its people, Electra FM further strengthens its ability to deliver professional, high-quality, and reliable services across every site and every project.
