For Exceptional Activity During Emergency Conditions, Under Fire, and in the Rehabilitation of Military Bases and the Home Front
The Maintenance Division of Electra FM recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Defense, in recognition of its exceptional activity during the period of warfare and emergency. The commendation was awarded for maintaining operational continuity at military bases and sensitive security facilities, for working under extreme conditions and at times under fire, and for making a significant contribution to rehabilitation efforts in the Gaza Envelope following the war.
The certificate was presented during a formal and moving ceremony by Colonel Shmuel Maman, Commander of the SAML Division, in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Defense, Electra FM’s executive management, the management of the Maintenance Division, and site and project managers.

During the challenging months of combat, the Maintenance Division of Electra FM operated across a wide range of sites and facilities, while continuously managing critical infrastructure. The work required around the clock operations, rapid decision making, and ongoing coordination with security authorities. Teams were required to function in a constantly changing reality, often without full routine support and without basic logistical conditions. Despite this, they maintained professional stability and full commitment to their mission, driven by a deep understanding of the responsibility placed upon them.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Daniel Milo, CEO of Electra FM, referred to the value that has guided the group’s activity in recent years. “If I had to choose one word that captures the entire journey we have been through over the past two years, it would be commitment to the mission. From the moment the Ministry of Defense turns to us, there is no question of convenience. We simply act. We take on the difficult tasks as well, including those that are not always comfortable or easy. This is a true mission.”
Milo added that during the period of fighting, this trust was expressed in a very tangible way. “When the war broke out, people left their homes in order to provide service. Civilians operated under threat, approached electrical panels in complex environments, and maintained critical infrastructure. This is a legacy of courage and responsibility that could fill an entire chapter on its own.”
This activity was not isolated, but ongoing and continuous. It included handling emergency malfunctions, rehabilitating damaged systems, and ensuring the ongoing operation of essential facilities, even when conditions on the ground changed from hour to hour. Site managers and field employees acted with composure, sound judgment, and full responsibility, even in emotionally and mentally challenging situations.

Avi Mazliach, CEO of the Maintenance Division, described moments from the field and emphasized the operational resilience of the teams. “In times of emergency, we proved that we know how to provide a response even in the most extreme moments. One morning, after a missile strike at one of the sites, I arrived at a location that was almost completely empty. Within a short time, the site manager arrived with his entire team and said to me, ‘We are here, and we will do everything required to maintain operational continuity.’ And that is exactly what happened.”
According to Mazliach, this capability reflects not only professionalism, but also a deep sense of civic responsibility among employees and managers who operate as one unified team, even under the most difficult conditions.
Moti Litvak, Vice President of the Maintenance Division, shared a particularly moving moment. “I asked whether there were technicians willing to take on a complex and dangerous mission, and the response was immediate. Dozens of hands were raised. It is a moment that fills you with pride. We have people with a deep sense of mission, who are not looking for applause, but simply want to be with their teams in the field and provide service.”
This human spirit was also reflected in employees’ decisions to travel long distances to remote sites, remain in the field for extended periods, and place the mission and the team above personal comfort, out of commitment to the values that guide the division.
In his closing remarks, Colonel Shmuel Maman, Commander of the SAML Division, expressed the Ministry of Defense’s appreciation for the partnership and said: “We are not always perfect, and we do not always know how to ask or pay on time, but we do know how to stop and say thank you. This certificate of appreciation may be modest, but it says everything. It reflects deep appreciation for your work and for the managers who brought their people here to hear this.”
The ceremony was attended by client account managers and maintenance managers from the various sites and projects: Shimon Gabay, Lior Wishengard, Shay Omesi, Oren Ben Nun, Shuki Shtrumer, Andy Leis, Yacov Chaluta, Yaron Assor, and Ron Maimon.
Behind this Certificate of Appreciation stand the people and managers of Electra FM, who demonstrated professionalism, commitment, and full responsibility while meeting national missions at the most challenging moments. This recognition reflects the deep partnership with the Ministry of Defense and the company’s contribution to national resilience, operational continuity, and the ability to operate both in routine times and during emergencies.
