A siren blares across central Israel, and explosions echo in the background. While most civilians rush to find shelter, Electra FM teams are already on the move—equipped with advanced gear, pre-planned protocols, and an uncompromising commitment. This is not an improvised reaction to crisis but the precise activation of a multi-layered emergency system the company has spent years developing, rehearsing, and refining.

As Israel’s largest facility management and operations group, Electra FM has proven in recent weeks that it is far more than a maintenance company. “In the past two years, we’ve made significant investments in emergency preparedness,” explains Daniel Milo, CEO of Electra FM. “Today, when the real test has arrived, our teams are ready and executing exactly as planned.”

This test came to life this week when a missile directly struck a residential and office complex in central Tel Aviv. The impact on the 13th floor caused multiple collapses, system shutdowns, and the immediate evacuation of hundreds. Within minutes, the company’s multi-dimensional response mechanism kicked into gear: security officers were first on site, securing the area; maintenance technicians began scanning critical systems; the mobile response unit arrived with specialized equipment; and cleaning teams initiated emergency sanitation, while the property management division coordinated with emergency authorities.

Avi Mazliach, CEO of the Maintenance Division, who was quickly on site alongside other executives, described the scene: “I can hardly describe what I’m seeing. The company has transitioned into full emergency mode. I’m here conducting situation assessments with field teams and technicians who’ve been working continuously since last night. We have people who represent the best of Israel—engineers and technicians from every discipline. Together, we will overcome this.”

“Our security field operatives are dedicated professionals, risking their lives to ensure public safety,” emphasizes Eitan Abbabo, Deputy Head of Electra FM’s Security Patrol Unit. “They are present where needed—even when everyone else is at home, under real threat.” This operational doctrine reflects the company’s holistic crisis management approach. Technicians, equipped with helmets and protective vests, follow Home Front Command protocols and focus on restoring vital systems: elevators, fire detection and suppression, electricity, generators, HVAC, and more.

“When your day starts with a crisis briefing, you’re already deep in it. We don’t wait for the tension to ease; we take responsibility in real time,” says Piki Kaufman, VP of Engineering and Procurement. The company has invested in emergency-grade equipment: armored vehicles, remote damage detection tools, and advanced personal protective gear. “We don’t just safeguard the infrastructure—we protect our people too,” emphasizes Elad Amzalag, Head of the Mobile Response Unit.

The overall picture reveals an organization operating in complete coordination – while security teams ensure safety and access to sites, cleaning staff are working around the clock at medical and security facilities, and technical teams are restoring critical systems to full operation. Even with a significant portion of employees called up for reserve duty and a reduced workforce, those who remain are working tirelessly to fill the gap.
“There was no hesitation – hundreds of Tavas cleaning staff and management teams mobilized immediately at the start of the operation, in full 24/7 format, to ensure continuous service for essential clients,” says Ilan Shimoni, CEO of Tavas.
“We always knew we could count on you – especially in times of crisis,” shared one of Tavas’ clients. “This morning we met your amazing employee – and just hugged her.”

This commitment extends even to sites not directly hit. The infrastructure management teams, responsible for contractors and vendors, continue daily inspections and coordination to ensure continuity amidst chaos. “Property management is, first and foremost, about responsibility—not just managing buildings, but supporting communities,” says Guy Rothstein, COO of the Group’s Property Management Division.

The success is built on years of developing a sophisticated, synchronized system. The company runs a central command room led by the CEO, supported by real-time control centers. Senior executives personally accompany teams in the field during the most complex operations. Meanwhile, the HR division activated a comprehensive employee welfare support system, providing psychological and professional assistance when needed. A clinical social worker specializing in trauma has been hired to proactively monitor and support staff in distress.
“The cost is high, but we look ahead. We maintain motivation through mutual connection. This is true mission work,” notes Guy Aloni, Head of the Security Division. “Even with personnel shortages due to reserve duty, those remaining are working like three people—out of commitment.”

Alongside its operations in Israel, “Given the complex security situation, Electra FM continues to collaborate closely with its global clients and partners, ensuring full business continuity across client sites and assets,” explains Idit Shani, VP of IFM & Strategic Clients at Electra FM. “The ongoing interface and mutual trust enable us to deliver rapid and precise professional responses, full operational accountability, and organizational resilience—even in the face of uncertainty. Especially in these challenging times, we are committed to reinforcing the values of partnership, responsibility, and reliability with clients in Israel and worldwide.”

“In the end, it’s all about trust,” concludes CEO Daniel Milo. “Our clients know that in any situation, at any hour, in any location, we’re there. It’s not just work. It’s a responsibility to the country.

. “Accompanying his teams throughout the ongoing crisis, Milo expresses deep appreciation for Electra FM’s employees: “I am filled with pride by the performance and commitment of every one of our people. They deserve the highest recognition in the world. The group, across all its subsidiaries, managers, and employees, is operating with exceptional professionalism and determination.”

In a volatile security environment, Electra FM demonstrates that modern facility management goes far beyond routine maintenance. It means being a true partner in ensuring life continuity—from the first moment of impact, through immediate response, to full recovery. Electra FM leads the FM business in Israel and is a trusted partner for any client, both in routine and in emergency.
