Managing large-scale facilities requires more than operational excellence; it demands steady leadership, systemic thinking, and the ability to lead people and processes in a dynamic environment. Guided by this perspective, Electra FM has launched a Next-Generation Leadership program this year, bringing together outstanding employees from across the group’s companies and proactively preparing the organization’s next generation of leaders.

The program was developed and is led by Tal Almog, VP of Human Resources at Electra FM, following a strategic planning process that began four years ago. While Electra FM has long operated management training programs, the organization identified the need for an additional tier-high-potential employees who have not yet entered managerial roles but are expected to strive for such positions in the coming years. The concept was to consolidate this talent into a dedicated track that would provide focused and in-depth preparation for the next stage of their careers.

The program’s launch was postponed in recent years due to national circumstances. This year, however, the organizational and professional conditions matured to enable its implementation. During this time, needs were refined, an appropriate infrastructure was built, and the managerial directions that Electra FM seeks to advance were clearly defined. The program aligns with two central themes that will guide the group in the coming years: Group Strength and Team Resilience, reinforcing both the individual and the organization.

What distinguishes the program is its integration of personal development, managerial tools, and broad business thinking, alongside direct connection to day-to-day operations and real-world dilemmas. For the first time, senior executives participate as facilitators in the program alongside external instructors. The direct interaction between group leadership and the future generation fosters managerial continuity, a shared language, and deep familiarity with the organizational culture.

As early as the program’s first session, Daniel Milo, CEO of Electra FM, joined the participants for a discussion on management and leadership. The session reflected the company leadership’s direct involvement in the process, as well as the connection between management development and the day-to-day work and challenges in the field.

Another significant component is the opportunity to shape a managerial role perception prior to formally assuming a position. Participants engage in simulations and complex scenarios, practice decision-making and process leadership, and prepare themselves for future roles under conditions that closely simulate managerial reality. When leadership opportunities arise, they will approach them with readiness, confidence, and practical tools.

Throughout the program, emphasis is placed on developing leadership, accountability, and influence, alongside strengthening capabilities in people management, interpersonal communication, business acumen, and decision-making in a changing environment. The objective is not merely to teach how to manage, but to cultivate leaders who understand the interconnection between people, processes, and outcomes and who know how to lead them in alignment.

The program’s success will be measured in the coming years by the integration of its participants into managerial roles and their leadership of significant teams and projects within the group. Equally important will be the desire of additional employees to join the program in the future—an indicator of an organizational culture that promotes internal growth and strengthens its internal leadership pipeline.

Through its Next-Generation Leadership Program, Electra FM continues to invest in its human capital and to build a professional, committed, and long-term managerial leadership as the foundation for operational stability and sustained management.
