The company’s innovation journey began with an environmental revolution driven by a genuine commitment to the environment and employee health. Tavas adopted a 100% ecological materials policy, using plant-based ingredients with high biodegradability and no heavy metals or sulfates. All cleaning materials comply with Israeli and European Eco-Label standards. Gradually implemented since 2023, this initiative positioned Tavas as the first company in Israel to place true sustainability at the heart of the cleaning industry, improving environmental and employee health and creating meaningful added value for clients who enjoy healthier and cleaner work environments.

After laying this foundation, Tavas moved to the next stage of innovation under the leadership of Ilan Shimoni, CEO of Tavas, who views innovation not as a temporary project but as a long-term organizational value. To advance this effort, Avi Yeshurun, Northern Region Manager, was appointed Head of Innovation. With extensive expertise and a passion for technology, he travels to exhibitions and factories around the world, meets manufacturers across China and Europe and brings advanced solutions to where they are most needed. One of the major milestones in this journey was Tavas’ participation in the national “Innovation Leaders 360” program by JDC, the Technion, the Ministry of Economy and the Israel Innovation Authority. Tavas won first place for a project addressing workforce shortages in the cleaning industry, presenting an AI-based TPT measurement tool to assess the feasibility of robotics and automation for each client site and create accurate operational plans. This initiative demonstrated how technology and human insight can combine to produce real, measurable change.
Tavas has also led innovation in the cleanroom field, introducing robotic and technological solutions never before seen in Israel.

This year, Tavas made history with its first Innovation Conference. It was a large-scale event and the first of its kind in Israel that brought together managers, clients, and business partners and presented the innovative solutions the company has developed in the field.
During the conference, fourteen innovation stations were showcased for demonstration and hands-on experience, including autonomous robots, real-time monitoring systems, service quality measurement models, smart team management technologies, and advanced systems imported directly and exclusively.
Among the participants were representatives from leading organizations in the Israeli market, including El Al, Rafael, major banks, and many high-tech companies, who were given a firsthand look at the connection between sustainability, technology, and an advanced service experience.
According to Yeshurun, “At Tavas, innovation is not a temporary project but a way of life. It starts with caring for people and providing tools that simplify work, and continues with robotics and smart systems that streamline processes, improve quality and set a new standard of excellence״.
Following years of development, investment and leadership, Tavas received official recognition by winning first place in the 2025 Service Sector Innovation Index from the Israeli Institute for Innovation Assessment (INSA). This milestone reflects long-term commitment to sustainability, people and technological progress.
